Care & Maintenance
Our boards are made with premium quality hardwoods. The wood has been treated with food safe oils and wax to help maintain longevity and create a moisture barrier. Use our Block and Bowl Board Butter, or mineral oil or other board waxes once a month or more frequently if needed. If you are cleaning your board more often, apply board butter more frequently.
Do not place in the dishwasher. Clean your cutting board with MILD dish soap and water. Dry thoroughly with a towel. DO NOT Use steel brushes on the surface.
Do not soak in liquid or let liquid and wet meat stand for long periods of time on the board. It can cause the wood to expand and soften which can affect the strength of the board and change its shape.
Store in a dry area away from extreme temperatures, and do not leave in the heat or sun.
